Old pics with new effects

I was playing around with a web-based photo editor and created these pictures. They're not new, but I thought the effects were pretty cool.

Feeding time

Mom seems to think it's funny holding the bottle just up to Jacob's lips as he searches for it. Dad would never do anything so mean!

Another good checkup

Jacob got another clean bill of health from the doctor today. He's up to 6 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long now, which ironically is what his mother's weight and length were at birth. Since he technically wasn't supposed to be here until yesterday, I guess that is what we should have expected. He had to get a shot, which for some reason, he didn't seem to enjoy too much.
We're starting to figure out how to get him to sleep more at night. And no, it doesn't include duct tape and a muzzle! If we can keep him awake for a couple of hours before bedtime, feed him, and then put him to bed, we all sleep a little better.

The waking up process

Not much new this week......

No big news to report on this week. Jacob is starting to let us know when he is getting hungry. He gets pretty upset if his feeding is a little late. We are starting to notice that he is gaining weight. His arms, legs, and his face are starting to put on a little fat. He goes next week to the doctor for another checkup. Kristine and I are still trying to get sleep whenever we can. It seems that he will sleep all day, but want to stay awake all night. We have no trouble getting him to sleep after a feeding during the day. But at night, he'll want to stay up for another hour or so after he has fed. We're trying to figure out the technique to adjust his sleeping pattern, because Mommy sure could use some sleep. (Dad does help out on nighttime feedings on the weekends!) Here are some new pictures:
